Dr Alicia Manolas – Client Testimonial

Whether doing everything from Seizure Alert Medical – BioMonitoring, to PsycoSocial Support work, with PTSD and other mental health patients, these parrots (and occasionally pigeons) need diaper suits that hold up to long daily wear for many years, are 110% reliable, and cannot be removed or lifted away by some of the world’s most high IQ working birds – a problem we have had with many other types of suits.

These (legal and official in their areas), avian Assistance Animals, work beside their disabled Handlers everywhere from hospital stays, dental surgeries, restaurants, food shops and other such places where hygiene control is utterly crucial- Flypers allows us this. While high IQ birds can be taught toilet training, a Flyper diaper suit stops every access argument before it happens.

Ranging from budgie to Hyacinth Macaw in size, aswell as more ornately decorated models for non hookbills- (the pidgeon community in particular!) the traditional Flypers have bird hygiene control down to an art form.

The Flyper Mini is a fantastic variety for non hookbills, especially pigeons. In my experience some parrots learn to lift their ‘bikini bottom’ away, and get crafty, so it depends on the parrot re- putting them into a Mini.

I’ve avian students world wide using Flypers, and they pair perfectly with locally obtained women’s flat ‘sports panty liners’ to stick to the inside of the poop pouch and collect poop- cut down in size for smaller birds suits, right up to sticking two entire liners parallel overlapping together, then sticking them on, for Blue & Gold Macaw size and up. (All sizes changed 3-4 hourly depending on your birds poop wetness and level.)

The Flyper outperforms other parrot suits on the market now by quite a fair margin, with its not poking wings through holes design, cinch top for ease and perfect fitting, open compfortable back, and low leash attachment point. The customer service Bev has provided for years is also second to none.

We highly recommend Bev’s Bird Boutique.
