How to Fit and Use Your Parrot’s Diaper
Fitting your parrot’s Flyper® correctly is key to comfort and success. Here’s how to do it:
- Unfasten all straps and gently guide the Flyper® under your parrot’s belly, making sure the tail fits through the designated opening.
- Wrap the wings straps around the back and fasten securely with Velcro—firm but not tight.
- Double-check the fit: Your bird should be able to perch, flap, and move freely.
- Add a liner inside the diaper for extra absorption if desired.
Acclimation Tips:
- Introduce the diaper slowly. Let your bird see, touch, and explore it before the first fitting.
- Start with short wear periods (5–10 minutes) and offer praise and treats.
- Gradually increase the time as your parrot becomes comfortable wearing it.
