Dear Customers and Friends.  PLEASE NOTE:  Flypers are not to be used as a secure harnessing system for your birds.  They are primarily used for poop control but do include a leash ring should you need to have your bird leashed.  Flypers can be used for leashing if your birds are in a secure space where they cannot fly away into the skies. Even if you have a tame bird and are walking outside with him on your shoulder, he can get spooked and fly off.  Predators have been known to take a bird off its human’s shoulder as well.  Even if your bird is wearing his Flyper to control the poop and you take him out into the open air, do carry him in your hands close to your body.  You can wrap him in a small towel or cloth which makes holding easier.  We do supply strong harnesses (without the diaper part) if you wish to take your bird out safely. ( but as I said you must still be aware of predators if you use this product)
