Stu is doing so well in her Flyper Heavenly Hammock!
She spends a few hours per day in it (supervised of course) and enjoys looking around at everyone. I have found. that using a milk crate to suspend the hammock in is a great tip. I usze soft silicone cups to feed her and figured how to attach them to the milk crate. I use the binder clips that one can buy in a stationary store.
She was constantly struggling to move before and could never keep herself upright (This is why she has so many front feathers missing as they keep breaking off.). I have never seen her this relaxed as when she is in her Heavenly Hammock.
I cannot get over how content she is says her mom Sherilyn. I keep the crate elevated on the couch or table so she feels higher. She enjoys watching everyone. Some of the babies (fledgelings) come over to visit and she shakes her wings and bows at them.. I really cannot get over how relaxed and content she is in her hammock. Both the Flyper Super Sling and the Flyper Heavenly Hammock have really has been a God Send.
